One of the first people I connected with when I started using Facebook several years ago was Jeff, who went to school with us in Linda Vista but moved away while we were still in elementary school. He has an amazing career as voice-over talent and it's been interesting to follow along as he's made a name (or rather, a voice) for himself in television promos, commercials, and movie trailers. As I was driving to Temecula for the weekend, I took a chance and sent Jeff a message. He texted back right away and invited me to come see his band on Saturday night -- they were playing at a local brewery.  Several of my co-workers came too and we had a really great time. So good to see Jeff again, to spend time with new friends, and to dance to the music.  Oh, and I got to say something I've always wanted to: "I'm with the band."
