We were hosting Katie's birthday party at Funderland as the rain, thunder and lightening arrived. The kids didn't mind the weather too much, but several parents were concerned. And the park officials ultimately had to close the park and send us home.
As we were leaving, one of the other moms commented, "Look on the bright side -- when these kids graduate from high school and we reminisce on their school years together, we will all remember Katie's 5th birthday!"
