We had free tickets for the Fair and ride passes from a friend who couldn't use hers. To avoid the heat and traffic, we ate dinner at home and arrived a bit later than usual. One of the exhibitors was giving out big juicy apples for completing a healthy foods scavenger hunt. So our only expense for a fun-filled evening at the State Fair was a $4 Icee for Katie.
