For the past six years, our annual camping trip with friends from church has been over on the coast, near Capitola. But this year, we headed to Grover Hot Springs on the eastern side of the Sierras.  I left my good camera at home, so these are taken with the camera phone. (Re-reading this year later, it may sound funny but phone cameras in 2007 were not the greatest.)  The centerpiece of the campground is a huge grassy valley surrounded by shear peaks, and a natural hot springs that feeds a wading pool where Katie and the other kids played.  I wasn't feeling well so we left the second evening, but I'm glad we went.
