Mother Orange Tree More Photo Album Home
Oroville, California
September 22, 2007
After it started raining, we left the Salmon Festival and went in search of another point of interest in Oroville. We found the Mother Orange Tree, the oldest orange tree in Northern California. The rootstock was brought from Mexico around Cape Horn and planted here in 1856.
As you can tell, Lisa gets very excited in the presence of historically significant citrus.
