Several years ago, my Uncle Barry (on the right on the top picture) created a masterpiece of a family history binder with stories, photos and a family tree that goes back to the 1600s. It's a treasure. Today, we shared some of that family bonding in real life when all of Marty and Herb's living children (and many spouses, grandkids and great-grandkids gathered at Claire and Jim's home (that they built themselves) in Lafayette.   Decades later, cousin Tim would take the helm of the family storytelling with monthly newsletters he researches and shares with all of us.
