I'll admit it. The trip to this family run amusement park was - plain and simple - a bribe. While Lisa and I were planning our trip earlier this summer, Katie made it clear that she had no intention of coming along. The prospect of long hours in the car, walking tours of strange cities on hot summer days, Civil War battlefields, unusual food, and a week-plus away from home was a non-starter. Only after we promised that every place we stayed would have a swimming pool and we'd spend one day at an amusement park, did she agree to make the trip. We had a great time at Lake Winnie, especially on the wooden roller coaster and the o-zone ride.
