Along I-29, South Dakota

Until today, I was one of the few Americans who hadn't been tapped to do the Ice Bucket Challenge, a fundraising campaign for ALS that went viral this summer. But Dave tagged me yesterday and I knew I had to play.

Lisa came up with the great idea to do it on the Laurentian Divide, the continental divide that separates the watersheds that flow north to the Arctic Ocean and those that flow south and east. Which way would the ice water flow - north or south?  (neither, it just soaked into the soil)

We stopped at a gas station near the and stocked up on ice, water bottles, and a styrofoam ice chest. Then we drove over to the spot and proceeded to get very cold and very wet.

I immediately tagged Katie, so she changed into her swimsuit and did the deed. I tagged Lisa too, but she opted out of the stunt and instead made a donation to ALS.
