The first weekend, at the River, was with Eileen and Michelle who I worked with when I first moved to Sacramento. As an added bonus, some of their kids and grandkids came along. There was much silliness and storytelling, along with happy memories and special moments.
The next weekend was the latest in what's become an annual tradition with my Linda Vista girls -- elementary school buddies who I adore. It's been a rough year for some with health battles and job woes, but I think we're all bouncing back from our challenges and there will be plenty of good times ahead.
