We lucked on this hotel with a blind bid on Hotwire.com that was just a few dollars more than what we paid at the worn and tired Super 8 in Indiana last night. And with a wonderful desk clerk who, when she discovered this was Katie's first time in Chicago, wanted to 'make sure you have a hotel room that lets you really see the city." So 25 floors up, looking down on the intersection of the North Branch and the Main Branch of the Chicago River, we had incredible views of the skyline and the waterways, day and night.
