Crater Lake was as spectacular as I remembered it. We joined the legions of minivans and RVs perched on the turnouts of the narrow road to stare at the mesmerizingly-blue lake, and had lots of fun watching the squirrels play. But the real hidden treasure was the one-mile Godfrey Glen Trail, which we hiked to see dramatic views of glacier-carved Annie Creek Canyon.
