Katie joined me for the first day and we were able to visit many of our favorite places and enjoy the fall foliage. (I'm really not sure why leaf peeping in New England gets all the attention when it's equally stunning in many Sacramento neighborhoods each fall)
After Katie headed back to Southern California, I got to play with Danny, Emi and Maya, including being there for Maya's first birthday.
