The countdown to the 9am announcement was painfully slow - a combination of excitement for Lisa's next great chapter and a small measure of "what ifs."  But the hour finally arrived (plus a couple of minutes) and then the arrival of this very good news: Video The rest of the day was a bit of a blur with congratulatory messages coming to Lisa from near and far. Her two good friends, Alex and Nick, arrived soon after and spent the day celebrating. Even brought her a kidney-themed cake. The head of her program at Wisconsin even called her in the afternoon to welcome her - a very nice touch. In the next few days, we would hear from so many people who have connections to Madison and say it's a really great town. I have no doubt.
