The state will relax many of its public health restrictions in two days, but today's graduation was under the old rules and that was okay with us. As Katie noted, all we really care about is the two minutes on stage when they announce her name, hand her the diploma and take the photo. So we showed up for our appointment, stood in line for a few minutes, and Katie had her stage moment. Then, instead of popping the champagne corks, we drove over to the coast and toasted with a couple of shakes.
