We splurged with a fabulous and colorful lunch beachside at the Royal
Hawaiian hotel, sometimes called the Pink Palace of the Pacific. We shared the dishes - my favorites were the pink hibiscus hefe beer, truffle fries, the lobster roll and the royal signature pink haupia cake a coconut-soaked white sponge cake, covered with toasted pink coconut flakes and fresh berries.
