Sharon moved to Linda Vista from Australia in second or third grade (I think) when her father came to work for JPL and the space program. I thought she left the area after elementary school, but turns out she went to a private school in the area and we lost touch.
But she is back in the states for a few weeks for family events and Sylvia hosted us all for lunch. The best part was walking around the old neighborhood, recalling where other friends lived and places we babysat or went to parties, seeing the library, the school, the bowl (now a city park) and telling nearly everyone we saw about our story - then and now.
