New York

February 3, 2019

We started the day with a Valentine-themed brunch at a little cafe in Nyack. That's where we heard about a neighborhood house that was legally haunted (Don't believe me? Look up Stambovsky v. Ackley).

Then it was off to Sleepy Hollow, New York, where we not only learned more about the Headless Horseman but the more salacious story of Leona Helmsley (Queen of Mean) who is buried in the cemetery there.

After a few errands in Albany, it was off to Saratoga Springs for a bowl chowder and a nice sunset.
