New York City, New York
February 2, 2019
I missed the extreme polar vortex by a day or two, but it was still plenty cold for me. We left Albany (where it was -2 degrees) early and made our way to New York City in time to wander around the Frost Fest with its ice fishing and ice skating in Bryant Park. A quick bite to eat at Whole Foods and then we headed up to see The Ferryman, a beautifully acted Irish family drama. Our second show of the day was Freestyle Love Supreme, a musical improv act down in Greenwich Village. One of the performers that evening was Chris Jackson, who Lisa calls her George Washington. It was a fun day of romping around the city. All bundled up.
