We discovered an off-leash park in Orange County which would have been nice -- if not for the bossy lady who lectured us on dog park etiquette and warned that if anything happened to the dogs she brought, we would get sued by her multi-millionaire clients.
A far better time was had at two stretches of coastline that allow dogs, including this one in Huntington Beach.
