I remember getting the call from John right after Annie was born and cherish just how many special moments we've shared over the years. Of course, there are been sad moments too - most notably when Annie's grandmother and my dear friend Joy passed away in 2009.

Today, I had the great pleasure of celebrating Annie and her new husband Dillon at their wedding reception at the beautiful Wente winery in Livermore. (They were married a few days ago in Las Vegas).

I just know Joy is looking down with a smile on her face. And a glass of great wine in her hand.
