Today we rode the Zippin Pippin, one of the country's oldest wooden roller coasters. Originally built in Memphis in the early 1900s, it became famous as Elvis Presley’s favorite ride—he even rented out the park just to ride it nonstop. After Libertyland closed, Green Bay purchased the coaster for Bay Beach Amusement Park. It’s a thrilling 90-second ride that carries a century of history at quite a bargain: Free parking, free admission to the amusement parking and just six 25-cent tickets to ride.
