At an all-staff meeting today, I received my 10-year service pin from Metropolitan - and immediately announced my plans to retire next month. Might not have been the most logical timing, but with everyone in the room, it made sense to share my big news. Right afterwards, Dee, Rebecca and Christine took me to lunch at Manuela - my favorite restaurant in the Arts District. (And yes, we ordered the biscuits with our meals.)
