During my career, I've seen many friends and colleagues retire, but this one hits especially hard. Bob has been a confidante and I've benefitted from his encyclopedic knowledge of Metropolitan, having been here 36 years. He will be missed by us all.

Today, he invited us to a great luncheon at the Tam O'Shanter, a sister restaurant to Lawry's which I am missing a lot this season. And I finally got to see Walt's table in one of the adjacent rooms - where Walt Disney and his imagineers often lunched.

It was a fun event, but perhaps the highlight was when our former co-worker Thair covered a Billie Eilish song with new lyrics for a tribue to Bob.
