Yesterday, we masked up and met up with the Sims's at the boat and did a test drive around the Bay after Emily and Dave were able to successfully repair a lack of power problem the Duffy has had for many weeks. (The repair place in Newport had made three visits to check it out over the past month, declaring each time that there was nothing wrong. Finally, they gave us a quote of more than $1,000 to fix. But with a little sleuthing, Dave discovered the problem was a loose bolt.)
The next day (Father's Day), Lisa and I met Jerry and Alex for a three-mile walk in Linda Vista, and then had lunch at Mijares.
