We had reservations, but the hostess couldn't find our name. "I'll look it up by your phone number," she offered. "Oh yes, I see that, it's for September 13."
Today is July 20.
But after some groveling, they were able to seat us, as long as we promised to be done with the table by 7pm. Which was no problem.
I wonder if I'll get to go back on September 13?
