This is my favorite time of the year in the wine country. The sun-kissed afternoons, leaves on the vines that blush with shades of burgundy and gold, and crowds that have lightened considerably post-Labor Day. Today, we spent the afternoon in Healdsburg with Marge, window shopping and picnicking at one of the local wineries.
