The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage that takes place during the initial days of medical school orientation to welcome students to the healthcare practice.
In many medical schools, it is a family event, but at Albany they discourage parents from attending. Luckily though, the ceremony was streamed online so I got to see Lisa and her classmates get their white coats and take the Hippocratic Oath.
