I was on a couple of panels with Jennifer, who runs the communications programs for California's statewide association. There, we talked about our programs to promote water conservation and some of the fun ways we've helped spread the message.
Jennifer and I have known each other more for than a decade. We worked together in Sacramento and she was on the hiring panel for my current job, so I owe her big for that. But I don't recall ever hanging out with her.
After our presentations, we went for a strenuous but spectacular hike up to the top of the hills next to our hotel.
