This morning, as I took it off the hanger in the wee hours of the morning, I realized the big security device was still on the jacket. Using pliers and wire cutters, I was able to pry it off. But when I put the skirt on, it was about 3 inches too long and quite loose in the waist I couldn't find safety pins but did find something that looked like it came off an old pair of grandpa's suspenders to tighten and clip the back of the skirt so it would stay higher on my waist.
And yes, felt like the country hick who had just landed in the big city. (Still not sure why I didn't just wear something else until I could get the outfit altered.)
