Let's just say that after pounding the pavement in Las Vegas for two days, it felt like we had actually walked from the Pyramids to Paris to Venice to New York to Rome. Up and down the strip, into nearly all of the hotels, and we even took the long bus ride downtown to watch the Fremont Street Experience light show.
We actually lucked out on the weather for August. Light showers and in the 80s on the first day, and in the 90s on the second day.
Two of the highlights were riding the High Roller wheel and the Michael Jackson show. "It's kind of creepy," said Katie as we were walking out of the performance. "I mean you're clapping for a dead guy."
