Katie takes guitar lessons at a local music store that's a throwback to the kind of store that likely existed two generations ago in every town. I've heard it called a musician's candy store and not only do they have just about every traditional band, orchestral, percussive instrument you can imagine, but accordions that look like art pieces, fun instruments like slide whistles and shakers shaped like fruit, karaoke equipment and things you barely recognize but want to take home. This, however, is one of my favorite finds.
