The finish line for the LA Marathon was several stories below, but another race was taking place at this Sunday morning meeting in a great new downtown office building where we met with some of the region's leading thinkers on sustainability issues.

Our area of interest was water but there were lots of other interesting ideas on cities, transportation and energy that may seem far-fetched now, but...you never know.
