Lisa and two of her friends were the winning team in the medical reading competition at the Health Occupation Students of America convention this weekend. The event brought together 800 high school students from throughout California for several individual and team competitions on health and medical skills.

As state champs, Lisa and her team will get to compete this summer at the national convention in Florida.
