I'd been trying to come up with an idea for her birthday present and this was perfect: A trip to Disney to go on Soaring over California, sometime in the next two weeks. I talked it over with my accomplice, Jenny, and we found a day that worked for her schedule and mine. Then we checked Dee's calendar and the meetings on that day were unexpectedly easy to rearrange.
All the stars aligned for us to leave work early today, drive to Disneyland, and squeeze as much fun into six hours as we possibly could.
Including not one, but two, rides on Soaring over California. Mission accomplished.
