The Red Cross has a Snake Farm in downtown Bangkok where they produce various types of serum to treat bites from cobras, banded kraits, vipers and other poisonous snakes.

We arrived early and walked around the museum.  Downstairs, there are displays with living snakes, much like you would find in any reptile house. But the displays upstairs were a bit unnerving, especially the glass tubes containing snakes and the "victim" on the table.

At 11am, we gathered in the auditorium and watched while two snake handlers made quick work of milking the snakes for their venom.
