Mariam has been here a couple of weeks now, and since neither of us had plans today, we decided to head for San Francisco and see some of the sights. The city is near the top of her long list of places to visit in Calfiornia this year.

This year, I am a liaison for a high school exchange student from Cairo,
Egypt who is here on a State Department sponsored program through AFS.
Miriam lives with a host family, but my job is to touch base with
them and her school once a month to make sure everything in
going smoothly. Mariam has been here a couple of weeks now, and since neither of us had plans today, we decided to head for San Francisco and see some of the sights. The city is near the top of her long list of places to visit in Calfiornia this year.
