But then Meena invited me to see Dolly Parton at the Hollywood Bowl.
And we were crazy enough to try and do both.
The funniest part of the evening was the connection between the two events. We met and talked with Andie MacDowell at the Tree People event. She was so nice and told us about a new movie she'd just finished and is very excited about.
Fast forward to the Hollywood Bowl where we struck up a conversation with the guy in the box next to us. "Guess who we met earlier this evening," we said to him, and then showed us the photo with Andie. "Yea, I just finished filming a movie with her," he said. Turns out it was Chris O'Dowd.
It was a busy, but very fun evening.
