Bob Baxter and his wife (and my co-worker) Lillian are apparently good friends with Santa Claus, so they made arrangements for him to visit us early on Christmas Eve. We made a donation to the Baxters theater company - Roundabout Stage Productions - as a thank you. After Santa left for the first time, the kids put out Christmas cookies, milk, carrots and grass for the reindeer as a treat for his second visit to our house later tonight.
