Last year's water conference was at Disneyland, so this year's event in Palm Springs could have been a real disappointment for Katie. I was late making my hotel reservations and was relegated to one of the alternate lodging sites. But it all worked out because this hotel had just finished adding a lazy river, two large water slides, and a water playground. Katie had her own version of a water conference and it was quite a success.
