Pillars of Color More Photo Album Home
Sacramento, California
September 20, 2006
When Danny was a toddler, we drove past this paint store every day on the way to preschool. The tall poles were painted like a rainbow, and he had fun naming the colors and learning to spell the words. The paint store went out of business a few years ago and the neglected pillars all faded into a bland orange-ish color. But last week -- even though the building still sits vacant -- they were given a fresh coat of paint. I hope whoever eventually leases the building keeps this colorful structure, and that it makes many happy memories for others kids and their mom. |
