Photo Shoot More Photo Album Home

We needed
photographs of kids to include on some of the advertising and promotional
materials of the new statewide water conservation program. I lined up
a few friends and neighbors to bring their children to the office for a
photo shoot, and several of my co-workers did the same. "What about
Katie?" asked the photographer at one point, and I explained that I wasn't
bringing her. As it turned out, we had an appointment that afternoon to get Katie's passport renewed at City Hall, and when she came back to my office afterward, the photographer grabbed her for a few minutes. All of the days photos -- nearly 1,100 images -- were sent to the consultant who is designing the first product, an activity box for kids. She picked her favorite (without knowing who any of the kids were, I'm told), and our in-house graphic designers concurred. Production will start later this summer, and thousands of the boxes will be passed out in schools and community events over the next year. |
