I met Steve on my first day at UCLA. My roommate Hillary was his longtime girlfriend so we all hung out a lot and became good friends (even after he and Hillary broke up). Steve's goal was to work in the TV and film industry, and when he was offered a job at one of the local TV stations, he left UCLA and began climbing the career ladder.

He worked on several shows and made for TV movies (including one that took him to Peru for a film starring Shirley MacLaine). Recently, he became a production assistant for the popular TV sitcom, Webster. As they were preparing for a couple of days of shooting in San Francisco, he offered Tabby a job as an extra.

We jumped at the chance. Steve got Tabby the required permits as a short term SAG card, and we showed up at the set on the Embarcadero near the Bay Bridge.

Shooting Tabby's scene took most of the morning, but she was a trooper. In the end, most of the footage didn't make it into the final episode, but there were a few glimpses of her (and Joe!) and the experience was lots of fun.
