We arrived just as throngs of school kids were finishing up their field trips to OMSI, and so we were able to cover a lot of territory in just a few hours. The innovation station, turbine hall, life science playground, and watershed exhibits were big hits. But the highlight was a hands-on wet chemistry laboratory. In addition to the experiments there, Katie completed a periodic table scavenger hunt and was awarded a prize, the Periodic Table of Elephants.
