We are always looking for a halfway point between Sacramento and Monte Rio to meet mom and dad, and typically it's been at the McDonalds in south Napa. But today, for my birthday, we met at the Oxbow Market. It's a small city foods market with a handful of wonderful restaurants, shops, and desserteries.   That day, I left my birthday card at our lunch table, providing a convenient excuse to return a few weeks later. And again. And again.
