Three weeks ago, I noticed that our market had a set of dishes on display.  It's one of those deals where each piece is on sale for a different week. And I guess they figure either a) they get you into their store each week where you'll buy lots of other stuff, or b) you get impatient and pay the full price to get all the dishes at once. 

At first, I walked on by.  But it was one of those nagging things. And to make a long story short, tonight, I get to pack up my boring old 14-year old cream colored dishes, and put these fun new bowls, along with the matching dinner and salad plates in the cabinet. (Sometimes, it just takes so little to thrill me!)
