One of the bright spots in Katie's year at her new school was her experience with the Model UN program. A few weeks into the school year, her English teacher recommended the program and Katie quickly emerged as a top performer in the competitions -- winning best delegate, several research awards, and many other accolades. Tonight was the annual banquet and the passing of the torch to the new board, on which Katie will serve next year. Here she is with her club advisor.
