Joe took offense with my claim that everything has gone unexpectedly wrong with the bathroom remodeling project. "It's just construction," he said. "And this ALWAYS happens with construction."
He's right, as evidenced by the progress that's finally being made. The 42-year old Montgomery Wards hot water heater has been retired and replaced. The new jacuzzi tub is wedged in where it belongs and appears to hold water and blow bubbles... (We can't officially test it until the tile is set and faucets installed). The countertop and old sink have been removed. Some of the tile is up. If our luck holds -- and quite frankly there's no reason it should -- we should be done in a week. Fingers are crossed.
