The luckiest press officer today works at the Orange County DA’s office.

That’s because every day for the past few weeks, our daily newspapers are wrapped in pages and pages of advertisements for the upcoming Golden Globes, Academy Awards and other entertainment accolades.  

Sometimes, there are also stickers on the front page of the paper. Today's LA Times has one for the movie 'Joy' covering the headline for the lead story, “Report faults leadership flaws at OC D.A.’s office.” You have to carefully peel off the promotional decal to see what’s underneath, and if you’re like most of us, the newspaper sits on the table all day with the sticker still covering up the bad news.

If the folks in the District Attorney’s office weren’t Jennifer Lawrence fans before, they probably are now.
