Kaanapali, Maui

The last time we visited Maui, our luau adventure was a disaster because as the event ended, Lisa went missing. It was one of the scariest moments of my parenthood experience, and in that span of 10-15 minutes I imagined the worst possible outcomes. Turned out, when Lisa got separated from us at the luau area near the beach, the hotel staff took her back to the concierge desk to wait for her negligent parents.   This time, our luau was uneventful. In a good way.
