Candlestick Park has a reputation for most inhospitable weather, even when it's hot and sunny everywhere in the Bay Area. So preparing for a football game on the first weekend in November meant packing several layers of warm clothing, my winter coat and wool mittens.

Instead, Mother Nature surprised us with clear skies and record warm temps. I couldn't resist shedding my shoes and socks. (Oh, and the 49ers won!)
